There are multiple slots available in every shift, so groups can sign up to work together, and there are options in the morning every day as well as one Tuesday afternoon.

“But I’ve never been a Shopping Assistant, how will I know what to do?”

Being a Shopping Assistant is easy and Stewpot staff members are present to give you guidance. All that’s involved is being present to accompany individual shoppers as they come through the pantry. Volunteers walk the aisles with them and, guided by a checklist, allow the shoppers to select certain quantities of food from various categories to ensure there is enough for everyone.
